FAQS
Frequently Asked Questions
Therapy can be beneficial for anyone looking to better understand themselves, navigate life's challenges, improve relationships, manage stress, or work through emotional difficulties. You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy simply because they want support, guidance, or a safe space to process what they are experiencing.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, current concerns, and any relevant background information. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, and together we'll begin creating a plan that feels comfortable and meaningful for you.
Not at all. Many people begin therapy because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, or simply want support navigating life. Therapy can help you gain insight, build coping skills, improve relationships, and create positive change, even if you are not facing a specific mental health diagnosis.
The frequency of therapy depends on your individual needs and goals. Many clients begin with weekly sessions, while others may benefit from biweekly appointments. Together, we will determine a schedule that best supports your progress and overall well-being.
